Sterilized Meat and Bone Meal is derived from healthy buffalo which is inspected by Veterinary doctors at Integrated Buffalo Slaughter Houses in India under the aegis of Agricultural and processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. The buffaloes HALAL Slaughtered are fit for human consumption and are free from diseases. Therefore, the quality of bones, animal tissues going into the rendering are also free from diseases, pathogens, bacteria and fungi etc., which ensures good and consistent quality of MBM.

In the dry rendering process, water is removed from the crushed material by drying before fat is separated from the mass. Sterilization has to be carried out at above 125 degrees for minimum 20 minutes. Subsequently the fat fraction is separated in a screw press where some generation of heat takes place, followed by cleaning of the fat by centrifugation. The defatted pressed cakes are cooled and milled to Meat and Bone Meal, which in turn turns out to be one of the most valuable sources of Protein & Phosphorus for Poultry industry.
